Fix Your Website Feedback Workflow

Website review is often slowed down by scattered feedback, unclear change requests, and miscommunication between designers, developers, and stakeholders. Comments live in emails, screenshots lack context, and revisions become difficult to track.

ReviewStudio solves this by centralizing website proofing allowing users to pin precise feedback of interactive elements, collaborate in real time, and track every version and decision. With structured feedback, transparent approvals, and a single source of truth, teams stay aligned, reduce back-and-forth, and move from review to launched faster.

FAQ

  • What problems does ReviewStudio solve that project management tools don’t?
Project management tools are great at managing project tasks. But when it comes to proofing, managing revisions and versioning, and approvals, things can become fragmented and inefficient. ReviewStudio solves this by centralizing and consolidating creative feedback, versions, and approvals. It keeps the review and approval of creative in one place with the creative work (not the project) as the focal point.
  • Can ReviewStudio replace email-based feedback workflows?
Absolutely…and it should! Gathering feedback by email is less than ideal. It is often fragmented, difficult to track, and causes miscommunication. Important tasks and comments are easily overlooked. Stakeholders can be left out (or even worse, you CC the wrong person!). The result is redundant work and delayed approvals. ReviewStudio eliminates those headaches by keeping feedback and approvals consolidated and synchronized with accountability.
  • How do I create an offline version or archive of feedback on my files?
At any time, you can create a print-ready archive of all feedback and approvals given on a file. The “Prepare Print Page” option on the Review Canvas gives you the option save the page locally as a PDF file. Batch download or print options are available using the grid view option. • How do I verify links within a document or website are correct?
In a PDF, and other documents, links are clickable allowing you to verify that they are anchored to the correct targets. When reviewing websites, you can use the “interact” mode to navigate to external links and verify their accuracy.
  • What file formats can be proofed in ReviewStudio?

ReviewStudio support the wide range of file types you work with, including:

    • Images – JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, PSD, 360 Panoramic (JPG/PNG)
    • Video – MP4, MOV, OGG, WebM, FLV, AVI, WMV, ASF, ProRes +
    • Audio – MP3, WMA, AAC
    • Documents – PDF, SVG, DOC(X), PPT(X), XLS(X)
    • Web – HTML (either as a ZIP, URL capture or live web)
    • 3D – GLB

If you use a format that is missing from this list, please reach out to support and chances are we can add it.

  • Do I need an extension to upload or review website content?
No. Website proofing doesn’t require an extension, simplifying the reviewing process for clients and teams. You can either upload your HTML as a .zip file or enter the URLs of the pages you want to import. Note that for reviewing animations in a live website, an extension is available to capture complex motion. Explore the extension here.
  • How do external users, such as clients, access a Review?
To add external users to a Review, they can either create a user account (such as a Reviewer or Collaborator) or access the Review as a guest. For many situations, guest access is sufficient. Users with an account have access to more features such as notifications, receiving email digests, and having access to a dashboard.
