ReviewStudio is proud to offer an intuitive platform for gathering and managing feedback on 360 degrees of content. From PDF to video, images to documents, audio to website content and more, we’ve long offered a great solution to proofing for all your creative assets in a single space.
We are excited to launch 3 new updates that will enable an even richer HTML and website proofing experience.
Whether you are an agency, brand or any other creative team, you will likely require a tool for reviewing HTML and website content collaboratively. Our solution, and even more so with this update, makes it simpler than ever to gather and manage feedback on web content that contains complex, interactive elements, animations, and transitions.
Website Text Markup Tools
As with any PDF or text document, you can now use ReviewStudio’s text annotation tools to review website content. This update makes proofing website copy more accurate and precise as you can highlight and select text within the webpage.
Live Website Review
There’s more than one way to leave feedback on web content with ReviewStudio. Our new update provides users with an option to proxy a live web page into the Review Canvas. This supports the display of most web pages, taking out current “Save HTML” feature a step further.
There are now 3 options:
- Save Image – essentially a screenshot.
- Save HTML – captures the webpage, with animations and links, but will not reflect updates if the live page is updated.
- New: Live Page – captures the page and any changes on the live website will be reflected inside ReviewStudio for review.
Option to Screenshot Interactive Content
Does your web content or banner contain animations, interactive elements, complex video, transitions, or visual variations?
This update to HTML proofing with ReviewStudio, you’ll have the option of saving a screenshot of the page with each new annotation. This means that when you markup content, it will display the page’s current state or behavior.
It makes sure markups are perfectly aligned with what the reviewing is looking at when they add their annotation – and removes any uncertainty or potential confusion for others.
It’s important to note that the screenshot option is only available when using the Chrome browser with the ReviewStudio extension. For other browsers or where the extension isn’t installed, ReviewStudio will continue to function the way it currently does by adding direct annotations but not accurately storing the state of the markup if there’s complex animation involved.
The Best Tool to Proof Websites and HTML Content
For teams of all sizes, ReviewStudio gives you an intuitive way to review a number of web pages you want your collaborators to review and approve. With media-specific annotation tools, and an option to interact with live web pages, you get accurate and efficient feedback from all stakeholders.
You can also add in any imagery, PDF content, or video in the same Review, making your entire proofing process simple, streamlined, and centralized.
