At ReviewStudio, our goal is always to bring you the best tools to improve your creative workflows. We’ve built the tools you need to get precise, actionable, and efficient feedback on the files within a creative project.
Often, optimizing your creative workflows means integrating your ReviewStudio activity and tasks directly with a project management tool that is being used to help your team manage your wider project deliverables.
Along with our API, ReviewStudio has long supported Zapier – a platform that allows you to automate workflows between thousands of different apps. This year, we are working to provide turnkey integrations directly with popular project management applications.
Project Management Integration Workflows
We’ve started off by providing support for Monday, Asana, and Wrike. Our approach to PM integration is similar across all three platforms and consists of the following workflow:
- Sync your ReviewStudio account with your PM account. This will allow data to be shared between applications. In general, you will be able to sync your ReviewStudio account to a single workspace or “board”. All the projects defined within that workspace will automatically be imported as projects within ReviewStudio.
- When you create a Review in ReviewStudio you can now select the project name that the review should be associated to. The new Review will show up as a task in the PM solution along with any deadline created and an initial “in progress” (or similar) status. A link to the Review will also be included in the PM task.
- Any review tasks created and assigned in the Review will show up as subtasks of the PM task. The content and status of the task will be included as well as a link back to the task in ReviewStudio. When tasks are completed, their status will be updated.
- When a Review is fully approved (i.e., all approvers have approved all files), the status of the task in the PM application will also be updated to “Done”, “Completed”, or “Approved”.
