Our updated dashboard notification feed and changes to email notification preferences build on our vision for teams to benefit from a streamlined review and approval processes across creative projects. And depending on how you prefer to receive notifications, that might mean regular digests, fewer emails, or no emails at all!
With ReviewStudio, the ability to see activity notifications in a feed with optional emails provides regular and real-time updates on feedback, approvals, and file changes, keeping teams aligned, and reducing delays.
How ReviewStudio Handles Notifications
To keep you up to date, ReviewStudio provides you with ongoing notifications of many of the activities that occur within the projects and Reviews that you are involved in.
Notifications of activity are shared in the dashboard notification feed with options to send and receive email notifications, as well.
Notifications are created whenever:
- A new note is added to a file by anyone other than yourself.
- A task is assigned to you, or someone completes a task that you assigned to them.
- You are @mentioned in a comment.
- A new file or file version is uploaded to a Review.
- An approval action is made by anyone (other than yourself) on any file in the Review.
- The overall approval status of a file or a Review changes.
How the Dashboard Notification Feed Works
Accessing your notifications is simple. Just click on the notification icon at the top-right corner of your dashboard. A number on the icon indicates how many new notifications have been added since you last checked, and new notifications are marked with a red dot for easy identification.
Each notification in the feed includes:
- Details of the activity.
- A direct link to the affected item, so you can dive in without wasting time.
This streamlined feed eliminates the guesswork and keeps your focus where it matters most—on creating and collaborating.
Email Notifications Tailored to Your Workflow
Prefer to get updates in your inbox? No problem. ReviewStudio offers various options for email notification preferences.
You can choose:
- Immediate updates for each notification.
- Hourly or daily digests summarizing all activity within the chosen timeframe.
- No email notifications at all, if you prefer to stick to the in-app feed.
To adjust your email preferences, simply visit your User Profile and select your desired frequency from the Email Frequencies drop-down menu.
Admins also have the ability to modify email notification settings for users via the Settings > Users menu, ensuring team members receive updates tailored to their roles.
